Principals Report – 18th September

Our Sporting Colours Day was a fantastic success, with a wonderful variety of sports on show — AFL, basketball, gymnastics, soccer and plenty more. The parade was an absolute highlight, held in glorious sunshine, with students proudly showing off the colours of their favourite teams and sports. The energy and colour around the school were terrific, and it was a joyful way to bring everyone together and celebrate what our students love.

This week we were also very fortunate to have an officer from the Proactive Policing Unit visit our school. They delivered presentations to every grade about bullying and its impacts, giving students the chance to really unpack what bullying is, the effect it can have on others, and — most importantly — what they can do to help prevent it and how to report it. These are such valuable conversations to have, and it was terrific to see our students engage so thoughtfully and maturely.

And a final reminder that today is the last day to complete the Parent Opinion Survey. Your feedback genuinely helps shape the direction of our school, so if you have not had the chance yet, please follow the links that were sent out on Xuno. It only takes a few minutes, and every single response makes a difference.

As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding term, I want to wish all our students, staff and families a wonderful holiday break. Everyone has worked incredibly hard this term and a proper rest is thoroughly deserved, so please take the chance to slow down, recharge and enjoy some quality time together. Have a safe and happy holiday, everyone — you have certainly earned it!
