What a wonderful Book Week it has been! The whole school has been buzzing with stories, characters and colour, and our Dress Up Day was an absolute highlight. A huge well done to all our students, families and teachers — the costumes were fantastic, and the creativity and effort behind them was clear to see. A very special mention goes to our Grade 6 students, whose brilliant collaborative dress-ups really stole the show. It was such a fun way to celebrate our love of reading.
A warm welcome back to Tayla, who has returned from long service leave after travelling with her family. We hope you made some wonderful memories along the way — and we are absolutely thrilled to have you back!
There was plenty to cheer about at Black Ranges Athletics, where a huge team of our students competed with effort and sportsmanship. We are thrilled that around half of our competitors have qualified for the next level, making this one of the biggest teams we will send through to Regionals! To those going on to Regionals — we will be cheering you on!
This Sunday is Father’s Day! A very happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful men in our students’ lives: dads, grandfathers, uncles and father figures alike. We hope you are thoroughly spoilt. A huge thank you to our Parents and Friends Club, whose fantastic Father’s Day stall gave every student the chance to choose an amazing gift for their special person.
There is still more to look forward to. Our Father’s Day afternoon event is on this Monday 7th at 2pm, and it promises to be a lovely afternoon together. We would love to see as many of you there as possible to help us celebrate!
