Principal Update 5th August

Dear Families,

As many of you probably already know, we are heading into a snap lockdown starting from TONIGHT. We’re very glad we sent the laptops out! Here we go again.

Just like the other lockdowns, the rules remain the same. If you have one adult at home (even if you are working from home) your children need to be at home. If you are an essential worker and have no one to supervise your children, you may book in for onsite supervision with this link BY 5.15 PM TONIGHT:

For tomorrow Friday 6th August, we will NOT be able to offer onsite supervision for vulnerable students or students with a learning disability.

We will send out a new booking roster tomorrow morning, so bookings can be made for next week for:

  • children of essential workers
  • vulnerable students (who have been in contact with school staff)
  • students with learning disabilities

Remote learning will begin tomorrow- we have our laptops home, so we are ready to go- tomorrow WILL NOT be a student-free day. Webexes will not begin until next week. We are trying to keep learning as normal as possible for our students.

Please send a message to your teacher if you have issues with laptops and we can follow them up.

Many thanks,

The 502 Team
